Celebrating 50 Years of Motorsport

In order to publicise the Club we are intending to have a Club stand at a number of the 2008 car shows in the locality. Having members’ cars at the shows is obviously a must, but we also need to demonstrate what we do with them. Also what other activities Club members participate in – organising the Plains and Tour of Cheshire, marshalling, noggins, radio control car nights, visits to professional rally/race car preparation workshops etc

Photographs can paint a thousand pictures and we would like to encourage you to join in our 50^th year photographic competition which starts now and finishes on 30 November 2007. Photographs can be of anything but will be judged against the theme of ‘Members in Action’ and can be taken at any time in the Club’s 49 and a bit year history.

There will be prizes for the best twelve and a special prize for the photograph judged to be the overall winner. Photographs taken by professional photographers will not be eligible for the competition but are welcome. A condition of entry is that the owner of the photograph gives permission to the Club to use that photograph in what ever way the Club wishes in connection with the publicity of the Club’s 50^th.

As an incentive to you all to get the competition going there are prizes for the first entry received, also the fiftieth.
