Tim Sargeant Memorial Autotest Returns for 2026
Knutsford & District Motor Club is delighted to announce the return of the Tim Sargeant Memorial Autotest, taking place on Sunday 28th June 2026 at the Demon Tweeks site on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Following the success of previous years, the club is once again grateful for the continued support of Demon Tweeks in providing an excellent venue for what promises to be another exciting day of competitive autotesting.
The event will run under Motorsport UK regulations and will feature competitors from a range of regional and national championships, including the Motorsport UK British Autotest Championship, the Demon Tweeks and BESTFED BTRDA Autotest Championship, and several ANWCC and SD34 championship series.
A Day of Motorsport and Community
The Tim Sargeant Memorial Autotest has become a popular fixture on the autotest calendar, not only for competitors but also for friends, family, marshals, and motorsport enthusiasts who come along to enjoy the atmosphere.
The organisers are continuing their successful use of online administration systems, with entries and live results managed through TimingAppLive. Competitors and spectators alike will be able to follow results throughout the day as the action unfolds.
The club is also continuing its commitment to sustainability in motorsport. During the 2026 season, emissions data will be collected to establish a baseline for future environmental improvements, helping the club better understand and reduce the environmental impact of events moving forward.

The event will feature six competition classes, covering saloons, sports cars, specials, and road-going production vehicles, ensuring a wide variety of machinery and driving styles throughout the day.
Competitors can expect a minimum of four runs at each test, with timing handled via the TimingAppLive smartphone system.
Awards and Championships
As always, the prestigious Tim Sargeant Trophy will be awarded to the fastest competitor of the day, alongside class awards, novice honours, and championship-specific recognitions.
The event forms part of several important 2026 championship calendars, making it a significant round for many competitors chasing points throughout the season.
Entries Now Open
Entries are now open and will close at 23:59 on Friday 26th June 2026. The entry fee is £45 per competitor.
Competitors are encouraged to enter electronically via TimingAppLive and ensure all required licences, championship registrations, and club memberships are up to date before the event.
Marshals are also essential to the smooth running of the event, and the organisers welcome anyone willing to assist on the day.
