Tour of Cheshire 2025

Very Latest info - We Catch up with Clerk of the Course, Mike Harrison

It's just a few days to the big day.

The good news is that all the completely flooded roads are no longer completely flooded as of Friday 21st. However, we have three road closures to deal with. One undoubtedly will cause a re-route.

The Club photocopier is now resting after a busy week of printing. The competitors' rally packs are sitting in the hallway together with packs for the timekeepers, test and secret check marshals. The focus for the beginning of this coming week is sorting out the impact of the road closures, getting the equipment sorted out, its delivery and set up.

Competitors and Marshals: Please 'sign on' now if you haven't already done so, it will save you a last-minute panic. Competitors, please make sure you have valid membership cards for the event and the appropriate Motorsport UK licence.

Scrutineering, and navigation paperwork collection, on the Friday evening (February 28th) is at Reaseheath College, Nantwich. As in previous years due to other activities at the College we don't have access until 5.30 and they are not allowing any trailer parking / unloading at the College. Trailer parking is confirmed at the same venue as 2024 a few miles away from Reaseheath.

The final instructions will contain new additional details, including the arrangements for scrutineering, so we request crews read these carefully as soon as they are issued. These are there to help make everyone's life a bit easier. The overview map with the Final Instructions will show event locations - trailer parking, scrutineering / document collection/ start & finish venue / the new calibration route this year, so don't just go the ones we have used previously!

Don't forget Graham Raeburn, of Rally Navigation Training Services one of our event sponsors, is running a pre-event training session on Friday February 28th for those new to regularity rallying, and not familiar with regularity navigation plotting or those who might need a refresher course - see regulations document for details.

See you all on Friday.

Spectators - Please note that all the tests are on Private Land and spectators are not allowed entry, however numerous en-route spectator points of interest will be listed at 12:00 hrs on Friday February 28th on the Entries page.
